I'm not expecting anything really. I'm just disputing the claim that re-designed MacPro is "innovative". And it seems that you are agreeing with me.
In case you hadn't noticed, pretty much everything in the computer industry had been done before, or can be seen as an adaption of something else. So by your definition, there are no new ideas and therefore no innovation anywhere. Which leads me to ask, what innovative things are you looking for, that you feel you can criticize Apple for not being innovative enough?

It's just bravado and backslapping BS following a victory. Great that Bin Laden's out of the way - but Al Qaeda has mutated into a distributed concept - not a hierarchical force.
A lot of the Al Qaeda myth was built by the US keen to find a 'bogeymen' anyhow.

Too big, too expensive, too many costs associate with transport/housing/shipping.
Saturate market with great quality products, fierce competition and very low profit margins.

At $79 a year it will probably be 5 years before the program moves to a commonly useful level where it may have the ability to replace MS Office. The very casual Word Processor user will not have to wait very long, maybe Pages 3 or Pages 4. With the 5 X $79 = $395 we move into the price range of the non-educational price of MS Office. But for the heavy Office user, 5 years may not be long enough.
I write lengthy academic papers, am writing a play and a book which I am pretty far into. So far, I don't miss Word one bit, and that is using Pages 2.
Pages has a lot of features. It just takes some time to learn how to use it.

It seems everybody's had completely unreasonable expectations of Apple's performance recently. They're doing fantastically well, obviously. But I've heard people saying their stock will hit $1000 (from $130/$200), Apple will become the world's first TRILLION dollar company, etc etc etc. When your expectations are unreasonably high, you're bound to be disappointed. But remember, Apple is investing heavily in R&D and engineering, buying-up half of Cupertino. They're not doing all this to keep building the same old iPod's. Whatever top-secret projects their skunkworks are developing right now will hit the market in 2-3 years. Who knows what they're doing now, and what will happen when it finally goes on sale. :apple:

If I were in the market for a smartphone and could choose a $49 iPhone 3GS vs. a $199+ iPhone 4 vs. a $199+ Android...I would very very seriously consider the 3GS since it is AT LEAST 4x cheaper...and in reality, does 99% of the iPhone 4 (I have the 3GS and as far as I can tell the 4 simply added Facetime and a front camera for facetime use).

I don't mind the "bubbles" in concept. What I think is hideous is the ovalness of them and the coloring. I'd prefer something lighter and beveled.

If they're going to make it a substantial upgrade to the display, then I can't see them calling this iPhone 5...
The increase in number for each model has worked okay until now, but I don't know.. it's getting to the point where it's sounding stupid. I can see "iPhone 4GS" working, but iPhone 5 or iPhone 6? Meh...
And the design of the enlarged display in that mock-up looks ugly, in my opinion.

Edit: Got out of the hospital and have been sleeping mostly since then. Now I wait for the biopsy results. Thanks for all those concerned.

And like others have mentioned, I'm glad things went well for you and I hope you good news from your biopsy.
Lastly, I'm kinda bummed that I haven't made the narration yet.:(

Will it support playing graphic intensive Windows games? That's the only think Parallels doesn't do for me.

In general you won't want to use any kind of virtualization solution for something processor & video intense like this. You'll want to just use boot camp.
